Here's the scrappy shirt!
I cut these and one pair of pj pants out on Monday, and sewed these up today. I am really happy with the shirt--it is just what I had envisioned. I decided to try a lettuce-edge hem for the first time, and I had to do it twice but I had extra fabric at the hem so it was ok. Too bad we have to wait about a month for her to wear it! (she's not 2 yet!)
The pants here were supposed to be leggings. I had L try them on and they are quite loose. I have a dress from the consignment sale that these are supposed to go with, and I'd like them to fit more like... leggings. Maybe I'll unpick the hems and just take them in--and if that doesn't work, I have enough fabric to try again.

cute shirt! How did you do the lettuce edge? You do a great job with kids clothes!
I love how the shirt turned out very cute! I am sure that the leggings will be just fine after you take them in, they are darling!
That is a really cute set. I love it!
