I will eventually get 4 more in the mail from my friends, and make one myself.
Also--I basted my quilt today.
I didn't have enough pins though, so I basted the last corner area with needle and thread.
Now that I think about it I wonder if I did it "wrong." It will probably be just fine. :) I am still pondering the quilting question for this one. I may end up straight line quilting it 1/4" away from the sashing seam lines. It's not my favorite way to quilt but I think it will look good on this quilt and not take away from the scrappiness and the variety of the blocks.

are those postage stamp blocks? I love those! I just don't know the technical term for them.
I LOVE your nine patch quilt. I totally need to make one of these. Stat. Well, maybe not stat, but I'm going to put it on my list.
Can't wait to see the nine patch quilted, and your bee blocks are so fun!
Your quilt is just beautiful and I love the bee blocks.
Loving the bee blocks! Keep us posted on what you decide for the quilting. Sometimes I see one idea, then sleep on it and do something else.
a suggestion: Quilt it on the diagonal. I really like the way diagonals make the 9-patches pop.
Love it. Really love it.
Wow! That is gorgeous already. It's going to be great when you can snuggle under it :0) Sarah
Your blocks for Bee Beautiful are amazing! I love them. I keep thinking I need to do that kind of block for my month in a bee!! :]
