Here's what I've been working on the last couple days:
It's going to be a table runner for a little table in my living room. After trimming it I think the top border is a little too narrow and I'm not sure if I should add on more, or cut some off of the bottom. I'm going to put it away for a while to think about that and try to figure out how to quilt it. I'm thinking maybe some hand quilting... I seem to always think that when I make these smaller quilts.
We have another snow day today (we got 8 or 10 inches starting at 12:30 p.m. yesterday) and I think I'm going to knock out this week's 9-patches and finish another couple of small UFOs. What are you working on? Have you made any Valentine quilts or other projects?

Super cute hearts Vickie!
I really like your creations!
I really like these:0) Either way you go, it will be good, they're super cute! Sarah
Very cute, love the use of the fabric salvage labels to make the hearts so clever! I would say that hand quilting with some floss would be super folk artsy;) I am working on my first I-spy quilt. Stay warm and enjoy all your UFO projects.
I like it! No hearts for me. I'm trying to work on UFOs and am making progress. Quilted 3 throws last night but I still need to trim and bind them. Almost ready to design and assemble blocks I'm working on for the That Girl, That Quilt Along square in a square quilt. We used charm packs and coordinating solids. I am thinking I'll make more of these. Quick and fun.
About the purple fabric: I'm planning on tossing all of my purples into a bag and giving you a call the next time I'm out and about. I'll just drop them off for you to play around with. You can call me when you're finished and I"ll swing back by. I think I'm going to chop them all up and make string quilts. I have 2 requests from a friend and from my step mother to make purple quilts. A string quilt would be a nice change for me, so feel free to use as much or as little as you'd like. Will be getting more purple fabric for these string quilts down the road.
Dang, cyberspace ate my first comment.
I love your hearts! Super cute!
I just finished a serger quilt I started when Sage was 5 or 6. My old serger (borrowed from my MIL) didn't have differential feed, so it started to get all wonky. I gave up on it. A few weeks ago, I found it. Since I now have a lovely serger, I decided to give it another go. Finished it up tonight just as Sage came in to kiss me goodnight. So she's sleeping under it. Perfect, since it was meant for her in the first place.
