I had originally thought I would make the pillow with big triangles on the front, but decided I liked the smaller ones better. I had a bunch of the large ones cut out though so I made the pillow back with them. The back pieces overlap by about 5.5" and are made of a double layer of fabric, but not quilted.
I kept the quilting pretty simple, I like it.
I cut out a few quilt blocks while my machine was back in the shop and that's what I started working on today. I hope to have some more finished projects to share soon!
p.s. I edited my Made in 2013 post to actually show my mosaic, changes over at flickr have been messing up my blog a little bit!

Love your Christmas pillow! Beautiful.
That is amazing. I love it. Every year I say I am going to make a tree skirt and yet I still haven't. One day. I love the pillow. Great work.
I love it. For years I have said I am going to make a tree skirt and I still haven't. One day I will be productive like you. I love it, great work.
I love your quilting!
Just wonderful! My pillows are.just oiecs of fabric sewn together. My goal is to ake at least one zippered pillow this year! I agree, I like the small triangles better. Lovely!
That's a lovely pillow. Did you make it from a fabric range (I don't recognise it) or use scraps? You are going to be well prepared for Christmas 2014! Lynne.
So Lovely, I agree with kata, the quilting adds that extra special dimension. Wow! have to add this to my "to do when I can quilt like a pro" list
Love your pillow! I like how you quilted it also, very sweet. Now you will have something new to put out next Christmas!
Do you have a quilting machine or did you do this fantastic work on your regular machine
